Radical Righteousness

Turn on the television, listen to the radio, pick up any glossy magazine in the supermarket check-out line and you’ll see the same message over and over… do whatever you have to do in order to make yourself look great… on the OUTSIDE! Jesus’ teaching in Matt 5:13-20 makes it clear that looking good on the outside is never enough! Here in this portion of the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus explains what His expectations are and what He calls Christ followers to… a goodness or righteousness that goes to the core of who we truly are!
