Westbrook Church Add comments

Westbrook is filled with the nations and Westbrook is blessed to go to the nations. We have a vision to do a ministry work, support a missionary and do a short term mission trip to every country that is represented in our church. Just a few days ago we returned from a weeklong trip to Tijuana, Mexico. Working with Amor Ministries, 58 people from our ministry had their lives blessed beyond measure. While we typically build houses for needy Mexican families (we’ve built 27 in the last 10 years), this year Amor asked us to build a Fire Station for the Rosarito Beach Fire Dept. I am planning on getting some pics uploaded for you to see what this trip was all about. Be watching for that. The change in plans mandated some adjustments to our routine, but all in all it was an awesome experience.

    Mont,

Welcome to blogging. I enjoyed the article on the mission trip to Mexico. This has been remarkable event in people’s lives over the years and it is great to see Westbrook continue to reach out across cultural lines. We never know who gets the most benefit from these trips; the people receiving the houses or fire stations or the missionaries seeing God’s hands at work. I think we do know that God is smiling during the whole process.

Mi nombre es Miguel, My name is Miguel. I am the lead pastor of Connection. Connection is a small church planting project. But this is not another church planting project…we are a bilingual-multicultural congregation. We have a big challenge here but we believe we are here to try to join languages specially in Spanish-English. I can see that your passion is multi cultures, I would love to talk to you and share about this. My e-mail is: carpizomiguel@yahoo.com. I hope I can start a conversation with you…and Dios te bendiga
