“Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” These words, which make up God’s 1st commandment in Exodus 20:3, are words that most Christ-followers believe and say we honor. As it relates to our worship of little golden figurines that is probably true. But truth be told we erect counterfeit gods in our lives which are foreign to the true Almighty God and distract our mind from true worship. This brief message series will attempt to direct our stewardship back to the true object of our obedience~ away from the counterfeit gods, which in the end are empty and meaningless.
