Habakkuk is unique among the prophets in that he openly questions the wisdom of God. Even when we cannot see it, God is at work.
“The Sovereign Lord is my strength; He makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on the heights” - Habakkuk 3:16-19
Remnant: Nahum
God is eternally, and deadly serious about vengeance, justice and righteousness. That may not be a very comforting thought, but it is true. To what extent do you understand the true nature of God.
“The LORD is a jealous and avenging God; …The LORD takes vengeance on his foes and maintains his wrath against his enemies.” - Nahum 12:3
