Sunday Morning Small Group - ABF

If you have not had a chance to connect with one of our adult small groups that meets throughout the week our ABF (Adult Bible Fellowship) is a great Sunday morning alternative! ABF is great place to continue your quest to deepen your faith walk with Christ and build strong connections with others. The group is currently exploring the New Testament gospel of Matthew. Westbrook’s Adult Bible Fellowship is held in Kingdom Avenue classroom K1, Sundays @ 10:00AM.

Westbrook Blood Drive

Every two seconds someone needs blood. Blood is needed daily for surgeries and medical procedures…cancer treatments and emergencies. The need here in the Chicagoland area is great. Westbrook is helping the community blood supply by hosting a mobile blood drive here at the Ministry Center on Saturday, January 31 from 9:00AM to 5:00PM. Sign-ups will begin on Sunday, January 11, 2009.

Ministry Opportunity

Why not start the new year off by serving Jesus. Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a non-profit Christian organization committed to feeding God’s starving children, hungry in body and spirit. The approach is simple: children and adults alike hand pack meals designed specially for starving children and FMSC ships the meals to more than 50 countries around the world. Several people from Westbrook will be joining in with this exciting service ministry on January 9, 2009 from 6:30 – 8:30PM. Women’s Bible Reading Group 2009

Start fresh in 2009 on a plan to spend time in God’s Word. Join our email group, reading our Bibles together in community for friendship, encouragement, and accountability. This year members will pick their own plan, and we can give you ideas. Then read and enjoy commenting, asking questions and hearing from others. Debt Reduction Workshop

Make the decision to become “debt free” in the New Year! That is truly a difference making commitment and to help you toward that goal, the Westbrook Good Sense/Crown Ministry team is offering a short course with practical tips on how you can achieve significant debt reduction! On Saturday, January 10, from 9:00AM to 11:00AM, you will have the opportunity to discover what practical tools you can employ to be freed from debt.
