Our first 2010 Family Weekend is quickly approaching.  Building into our families can be a challenge and we wanted to help give you an opportunity to do so.

We have some fun, family events taking place on Saturday, March 13 and on Sunday, March 14.  Be sure block out Saturday afternoon from 1:00 to 3:00PM for a “HIKE & HOT COCOA” at .  And then on Sunday, each of our morning services will include the family as our Children & Student Ministries team take the lead role in putting together Sunday’s program.  Birth through Kindergarten programming will be available in Kingdom Avenue.  All others, 1st grade and up will be in the Family Worship Service.  Come ready to worship together as a family!

Maybe you figured out  a long time ago, that faithfulness and commitment to God’s call on your life from a stewardship perspective is something that you could trust and count on… thus you are a faithful steward. Because you have come to terms with this you have seen God bless you.  If you are in that camp…  we say  thank you.

Bottom line…There is a clear and distinct correlation between trust, faith, generosity, contentment and obedience to God with our pocket books.   However, there are still many people who struggle with this aspect of faithfulness and release to God.  Wherever you are in this journey… God still wants us to learn  to trust Him first. When you do  God will take you to places you never dreamed of going!
