Spiritual FormationAt Westbrook Christian Church we are committed to doing everything we can to provide you with the necessary tools to build a strong relationship with Jesus. It’s not just something we believe in, it’s something we live. We have put in place a series of instructional seminars that we call Christian Life Development (CLD) which are designed to help you build upon the foundation which was laid by God when you accepted Jesus Christ as Your Lord and Savior. The classes are not just something to learn and forget. Rather it is our hope and prayer for you to incorporate what you learn into your daily life as you become a “Fully Devoted Follower of Christ.”

CLD 100
Discovering Westbrook
C.L.D 100 is a two hour discovery class that will answer your questions regarding who Westbrook Christian Church is.

  • What does Westbrook believe?
  • Is Westbrook the place for me?
  • Why is Westbrook different?

In C.L.D. 100 there will be the opportunity to get to know our Pastor and ask him any questions you might have. If you are curious and seeking, C.L.D. 100 is the place to start.

CLD 200
Growing God’s Way
C.L.D. 200 will help you see the importance of growing in your walk with the Lord. Learn about the importance of:

  • Prayer
  • Bible study
  • Fellowship
  • Giving
  • Discipleship

If you have made the decision to allow Christ into your life but don’t know where to go, then C.L.D. 200 is the next step in your Christian Life Development. C.L.D. 100 is a prerequisite.

CLD 300
Serving God’s Way
C.L.D. 300 is a course that will help you learn more about how you have been gifted individually. After you learn of your spiritual gifts you will be able to be more effective in your service. In C.L.D. 300 you will be able to:

  • Know your Spiritual gifts
  • Know the importance of serving
  • Find out where to start serving in the church

If you are wanting to be involved but don’t know what to do, do what God gifted you to do. Find out what that is in C.L.D. 300. CLD 100 and CLD 200 is a prerequisite to attend this course.

CLD 400
Sharing God’s Way
This class will give you some practical training to help you in your quest of sharing your faith. We all know that sharing Christ with people may be intimidating to some. C.L.D. 400 will help you in seeing the different approaches to sharing Christ with others.

If you have any friends or relatives that you know are not yet saved and you don’t know where to begin, C.L.D. 400 will help you get started in your effort to help friends know about Jesus Christ and the salvation he offers.
 

CLD Tier 2

CLD Tier 2 is a ministry that helps to provide the very thing it’s name implies. Helping people go to the next level-the next tier in their development with God. One day, one weekend, as well as multiple day classes are offered to provide continual growth opportunities for the believers at Westbrook. Issues and topics such as The Biblical View of the End Times, How To Share Your Faith, Personal Financial Management/How to Get Out of Debt, Parenting Seminar, Apologetics, Leadership Development and Expository Bible Studies are offered.
