Small Groups

Small GroupsThe small group is exactely what it sounds like, a group of people, usually no more then twelve, who meet together regularly for the purpose of developing relationships that God can use. He uses the relationships in a group to invariably change the lives of those involved. At Westbrook, small groups are more then just a ministry, they are the fundamental building blocks for all parts of our church. They give us a structure for “doing” church that is relational as well as practical. Throughout our church you will find people in community as they share, learn, relate, and grow.

You see, Westbrook can be an intimidating place for new people who might feel lost in the crowd. Though people come for many different reasons, they generally only stay for one…relationships. At Westbrook Christian Church we believe that small groups are the best context for developing solid Christian relationships. In a small group you have the opportunity to not only be loved and accepted, but to develop friendships with others who are discovering what it means to follwo Jesus.
